Qualification Description
This qualification is designed to meet the needs of builders, including selecting contractors, overseeing the work and its quality, and liaising with clients.
Duration
This program runs for 52 weeks.
Entry and Admission Requirements
- Applicants must be aged 18 or above
- To assist prospective students to determine if the course is suitable and appropriate for the individual needs, Pretraining Review (PTR) will be conducted.
- Successful completion of BCTA’s Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) test.
Fee & Funding
Government Funded (Amount to be paid by the student = $0)
- This Training is delivered with Victorian Government Funding for eligible students. To be eligible, you must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or have a permanent residency visa, and be ‘upskilling’ by seeking to enrol in a higher-level course than what you already hold. This may impact your access to further government-subsidized training in the future.

Location
Classes are conducted at various locations across Victoria. Please contact us to find the nearest location. Please note that during COVID 19 Pandemic all classes are being held virtual online.
Delivery Method
This course is delivered with a weekly class (currently run online through MS Teams). You need to set aside 13 hours per week for self-study and 7 hours for Assessment work.
In weekly class, your trainer will facilitate a range of Training experiences including:
- Trainer led instruction
- Discussion and debate
- Group Training activities
- Case studies
- Role plays
